I guess it is difficult for me to determine in your comment "because they're just too big and important to rate less" is sarcastic or not, which would make it important to know what, exactly, you mean by "they" in it.

It is EXACTLY WHY we wrote a constitution (before internet, go figure) telling everyone in no uncertain terms that we think it is better if everyone can speak, and if you don’t think so you’re gonna have a hard time.
