In context, I agree, yes, laziness and resistance to change, colossal institutional conglomerates with little incentive to do better. From the Age of Printout to the Age of Screenshots is not a long way to go conceptually, but handheld raster images, no matter how comparatively crude, have more street cred than 'screen’ images. Perhaps more now because of new tech developments, rather than only the emotional attachments of the skeuomorphic pioneers.
