@JohnPhilpin Not that this is exactly the same thing but Timing is pretty good, apart from the subscribe only-ness of it, for keeping track of what you're up to. No AI afaict, just keeps receipts of all your activity, which you can then aggregate and report against as need demands.
@dominikhoecht ahh. lol.
@mrcompletely @anne a much more likely explanation, and tasty to boot—a double plus good sort of thing. ❤︎ ♜ And the friends of cilantro wanted me to mention trying it in a spicy soup, so...my work is done here!
@hollie ❤︎ 😆👾
@jtr Yes, I would like to hear more as well. So thanks @gregmoore.
I've had not just one long gap (as @SimonWoods mentions) in journalling but hundreds. I have runs of longer posts, photos or music, silence for months, switch blog platform (repeat every couple of years), fresh start posts, a flurry of short interactions, more silence, etc. I try not to let it bother me anymore. I do it like I do it.
But I should say that intention is a significant driver for me as well. Jokes and jabs and knowing winks only sustains for a time, but if I have a creative “accomplishment” in mind, well then I make more, which increases the odds some of it might be passable. ❤︎
@mrcompletely Fennel & Dill must be a law firm representing the Big Bread syndicate.
@MitchW Perhaps, but for me Steely Dan does a better job of conjuring up 70's SoCal vibe than any other. No static at all.
@cheribaker I've taken to keeping a "morning dj" app on the phone with the required modern sound accompaniments. Triumphant horns, boing, and barnyard squabble are my current favs.
@AndyNicolaides Billionaires freak when they don't feel the reverence. Attention alone isn't enough. Imagine a horde of Xerxes (300) but with quilted hunting vests rather than gold drip.
@todor I believe you're correct about Obsidian being sensible when moving container-type documents around. Obsidian has alot going for it, but that is in fact the issue for me. Too many (very useful) geegaws and thingamijigs (aka plugins) has me creating little software sketches of potential workflows, edge case elegance, timelines and archiving—ah, but I could also do it like this (3hrs later) There! I'll save 10 or 15 seconds on each item, so I'll get a return on time invested...uh...in 2033. Great.
