Their offerings originate in deep seated fear of irrelevance, or preventing some inaccuracy in the panopticons morality spreadsheet, it is difficult to tell with all the yelling.

That they would (also) appear on BlueSky and Mast prompts me to ask myself if this phenomena is common enough to be expected in social software per se, or particular only to scaled commercial extractive social software, or something to do with identity?
