@hopedoty seems too good to be true. i like them. snuggleblankies for your dogs!
@pimoore If it feeels like a scene from archer I’m in tho; musical theme, questionable but delectable nutrition, y’know, smartassery-a-gogo and heavy outlines. ❤︎ ♜
@Vincent Yes, fully agree. Makes a mess on the shoes and no one can see the horizon looking at their own toes all day so they don’t get stepped on...:-)
@numericcitizen love the (hmm right term...) graphicky? feeling...like a panel from a Métal hurlant serial.
@pimoore forgot to mention (admit) that I am more prone to hop on the bicycle than jump in the pool at any given moment...
@pimoore "identifying for a moment as a self-centered imbecile, it is difficult for me to understand that your needs could be different than mine..." ❥ ♜
Interesting re: body energy demands while swimming v other activities. And I do have the advantage of a nearby heated pool, which is essentially a honey bath. 🤣🤪🍯
@fraying So when they said, "everything in moderation", they meant "moderation is everything"? ❥
@pratik, et al. another example.
@pratik, et al. And so is "cancel culture". Not because holding people to account is something we shouldn’t do, of course, but because of the posse mentality that (we’ve found) inevitably ensues. Emerges from group dynamics nudged along with algos.
@pratik, et al. Just to make that bit about fake news concrete so I don’t sound like a complete loon: News historically is not evaluated on its truth value as much as we would think, but much more on the trust line to the sender and the utility value of the information. Fake news is also news because we think (someone thinks) it is important that we know some other folks are lying all the time, or at least think they are. It’s awful.
